So what are some of the details? Well - one of the best points of our storage facility is that we offer the only climate controlled storage/mini-storage units in all of Taos county. YEAH - Finally! Our climate controlled storage units are located inside a newly constructed building, unlike other storage facilities where the storage units open directly outside. Outside dirt and dust are not transferred indoors, which is good news for personal belongings, fragile antiques and works of art. Items stored in our units will not face extremes in air temperatures or humidity. Many wood-based furniture pieces, musical instruments and antiques could crack or split from a constant cycle of freezing and thawing. Our facility uses indirect heating and cooling systems to maintain air temperature. Since our climate controlled storage units are located indoors, there is less chance of outside vermin and pests infiltrating them and damaging insects are kept at bay through concrete and metal construction. Unlike our storage facility, unregulated storage units may become susceptible to outdoor pests such as bees, wasps or mice, if not inspected regularly.
